Leith Festival 2026

Leith Festival is a community-run festival celebrating the people, creativity, and culture of Leith. The 2026 festival week runs from 13 June to 21 June, with Gala Day on 13 June and the Pageant and Community Tattoo on 21 June. The programme includes entertainment, performance, and community activities designed for a wide range of interests. It is one of Edinburgh’s oldest festivals, starting in 1907 with a pageant and gala day to raise funds for Leith Hospital. Individual event times vary across the week, but Gala Day has a set daytime schedule.
