Please check organiser for times. This November, Edinburgh Diwali, Scotland’s largest public Diwali celebration brings a celebration of light, culture, music and dance to Edinburgh. Since 2015, Edinburgh Diwali has showcased the spirit of the Indian festival of lights and Scotland’s rich multicultural tapestry by bringing together communities to celebrate diversity. A glorious kaleidoscope of colour, music and dance, it is an event for everyone, regardless of religious and faith. The days’ fun begins with a colourful parade through Edinburgh’s New Town, before heading to the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens for an afternoon and evening of live performance. Audiences will be treated to a display of music, dance and entertainment that showcases the rich diversity of pan Indian culture in fusion with wider local traditions. © Robin Mair The festival offers a fantastic day out for all the family.
